A quickie tutorial

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Sparkles of choice, I used it from one of the scrapkits

I used Rob's Inspiration & FFF Urban fonts

Open the template

Delete the credit layer & 700 x 700 Canvas Size

Flood fill the rest of the background layer with white

Click on the grey rectangle layer. Grab your text tool, I used FFF Urban font, size 8, anti-alias - off and type ANGELIC, convert it to raster layer, go to Effects - Mura Miester - Copies and apply the tiling setting and move the Gap slider to 2. Back on the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat and invert then hit delete. Select none, back on the original rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat and add a new layer, flood fill it with #970904 or colour of your choice. Select none, go to Effects - Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow and apply with these settings shown below. Apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 and Blur 4.00.

Click on green background layer, go to Material Properties and change the foreground to #970904 and background to #000000 with the settings of Angle - 40 and Repeats - 0, invert box checked. Select all, float, defloat and flood fill it with the gradient, keep it selected open your close up tube and copy & paste as a new layer then invert and hit delete. Change the blend mode to luminace (L). Keep it selected, open the texture and copy & paste as a new layer, change the blend mode to soft light then select none.

Click on the Right Frame layer, go to Adjust - Brightness/Contract and use the settings of Brightness -255 and Contract 0 then apply dropshadow with the same settings as we did earlier.

Click on your gradient flood fill, duplicate and mirror it then move it up above the blue background layer, repeat this with the tube and texture. Apply Brightness/Contract to Left Frame layer as we did before with the Right Frame and apply dropshadow.

Click on the pink background layer, select all, float & defloat add a new layer and flood fill it with black. Select none, go to Effects - Textures Effects - Weave and apply with these settings of Gap size 2, Width 12, Opacity 2, Weave Color & Gap Color #970904 and Fill gaps checked. Click on the Middle Frame layer, select all, float & defloat, add a new layer and flood fill it with #970904 then apply same dropshadow to it.

Click on LeftStar1 layer, select all, float & defloat then flood fill it with #970904. Select none, go to Adjust - Add Noise, apply with these settings of Uniform 25 and monochrome checked. Apply with the same gradient glow and dropshadow as we did earlier with the rectangle. Repeat this with RightStar1. Click on TopLeftStar layer and resize it 85% bicubic size then apply gradient glow and dropshadow to it, move it to the top of the red star. Repeat this with the TopRightStar.

Click on the GreenCircle layer, go to gradient fill and change the angle to 0 and repeats to 1. Select all, float, defloat add a new layer and flood fill it with the gradient. Select none, grab your text tool but change the colour to black and repeat as we did earlier for the rectangle then apply Mura Miesters Copies and change the gap to 1 then back to the circle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and back on the text layer then hit delete. Repeat this with the BlueCircle layer.

Click on GCircleFrame layer, select all, float, defloat and add a new layer, flood fill it with black and apply dropshadow. Repeat this with BCircleFrame layer. Open up the sparkles and copy & paste as a new layer.

Open up your tube of choice, copy & paste as a new layer, duplicate it and on the duplicated tube go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur 3.00 then apply and change the blend mode to soft light. On the original tube and apply dropshadow with these settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 and Blur 10.00.

Grab your text tool, I used Rob's Inspiration font, size 100 and type in your name then convert it to raster layer, apply gradient glow with the same settings as before and apply dropshadow.

Resize and crop it, save it as .jpeg or .png image.
