ROCK BABY


This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

PSP X2 (Any version will work)

TUBE OF CHOICE

I use artwork by Elias Chatzoudis you can get it HERE

Missy's Template278 and you can get it HERE

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Xero - Radiance

VanDerLee - UnpluggedX - Interlace

Metal Lord font

 

Open the template - Canvas Size 700 x 700

Delete the credits and we will resize it later

Click on square 1 layer, Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Invert and open the close up tube and copy & paste as a new layer then hit delete. Select none, go to Effects - Xero - Radiance and apply by default then duplicate it, on the duplicate go to Adjust - Blur - Guassian Blur 3.00, apply and change the blend mode to soft light then on the original tube change the blend mode to luminance (L) and go to Effects - VanDerLee - UnpluggedX - Interlace and apply by default. Repeat this for the other square.

Open element59, copy & paste it as a new layer, place it to the left of the square, on the square layer Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Invert and hit delete. Select none, repeat this with the same element for the other square. On the top element, merge down and go to Effects - Xenofex 2 - Consteallation and apply with these settings shown below. Apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H both on 1, Opacity 40 & Blur 4.00.

On Frame 1 layer, go to Adjust - Brightness & Contrast and apply with the settings of Brightness on -255 and Contrast, apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H both on 1, Opacity 40, Blur 10.89. Repeat this with the other frame.

On circle layer, open element17 and copy & paste as a new layer, resize it at 50% smartsize and place it in the centre of the circle.

On frame 3 layer, add a new layer and flood fill it with #eb90b3 then back on the frame layer Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Invert and back on the fill layer and hit delete. Select none, go to Adjust - Add Noise - apply with the settings on Uniform, 50% and Monochrome checked, go to Effects - Eye Candy4000 - Gradient Glow and apply with the settings shown below. Apply dropshadow with the same settings as before.

Open element48, copy & paste as a new layer and resize it at 50% smartsize then apply dropshadow the same as before. Open element5, copy & paste as a new layer and resize it at 25% smartsize, sharpen it and apply same dropshadow then duplicate and mirror it.

Open the element40, copy & paste as a new layer and place it in centre of the tag.

On thin rectangle2 layer, Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat, add a new layer and flood fill it with #eb90b3. Repeat this with the other rectangle.

On dotted line1 layer, add a new layer and flood fill it with #eb90b3 then back on the dotted line1 layer, Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Invert and back on the fill layer and hit delete. Repeat this with the other dotted line and words layers.

Open the tube, copy & paste it as a new layer and apply dropshadow same as before.

On the bottom layer, open element65 and copy & paste as a new layer then resize it at 70% smartsize and apply same dropshadow, move it to the right and duplicate and mirror it.

Add your text, I used Metal Lord font, convert it to raster layer, Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Modify Expand 2 and add a new layer, flood fill it with #eb90b3 and apply same noise then go to Eye Candy4000 - Gradient Glow and change the setting to Medium, black and make it a bit thicker then apply same dropshadow.

On the bottom layer, add a new layer and flood fill it with #eb90b3, apply WSLMask_220 and merge group. Open element36, copy & paste as a new layer then move it to the left and apply dropshadow with the settings on V & H both on 1, Opacity 40 and Blur 4.00, duplicate and mirror it and duplicate it again then move it in the centre at the top of the tag.

Delete the original layers and hide the white background layer and merge visble, crop, resize and save it as .png file.
