ROCK PRINCESS


This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

PSP X2 (Any version will work)

TUBE OF CHOICE

I use artwork by Ted Hammond you can get it HERE

Tamie's PTU Rock Princess and you can get it HERE

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Xero - Radiance

Rob's Waterbrush font

 

700 x 700 new image & we can resize it later.

Grab your preset shape tool, use the ellispe shape and draw a large oval shape with black, convert it to raster layer. Repeat this again but a bit smaller than the large one in white. On the white oval shape, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Invert and open paper4, copy & paste as a new layer and hit delete, don't deselect yet. Open the wire, copy & paste as a new layer and hit delete, apply dropshadow with the settings on V & H both on 1, Opacity 30 and Blur 3.00.

Open the filmstrip, copy & paste it as new layer and resize it at 80% smart size and grab your selection tool and draw it around the filmstrip, on your material properties change the foreground to #d598da and background to #eb52a5, change it to gradient with the settings on Angle 36 and Repeats 3. Add a new layer, flood fill it with the gradient then select none and move it under the filmstrip.

Grab your magic wand tool, select inside the first frame of the filmstrip and open the tube, copy & paste as a new layer and change the blend mode to overlay and duplicate it. Repeat this with the other 3 frames.

Open the polaroid, copy & paste as a new layer and resize it at 80% smart size, rotate it at 15% left and go to Brightness/Contract and apply with the settings on Brightness -255 and Contract 0. Duplicate it and mirror, move them to underneath the filmstrip's gradient fill. Grab the magic wand and select inside the polaroid frame, copy & paste your tube as a new layer and go to Selections - Invert, hit delete & select none. Go to Effects - Xero - Radiance and apply by default then change the blend mode to overlay and duplicate it, repeat this with the other polaroid. Apply dropshadow to both with the settings on V & H both on 1, Opacity 40 and Blur 4.00.

Open the button2, copy & paste it as a new layer, resize it at 40% smart size and duplicate it. Place them on each side of the polaroids like seen on the tag & apply same dropshadow as before.

Open the guitar, copy & paste it as new layer and resize it at 40% smart size, rotate it at 15% left and move it to the left of the filmstrip then apply same dropshadow as before and duplicate & mirror it then move it to the right.

Open the heart, copy & paste as new layer and resize it at 40% smart size. Apply same dropshadow as before and duplicate it, place them in the middle of the second and third frames as shown on the tag.

Open the rose3, copy & paste as new layer and rotate it at 90% right. Resize it at 80% smartsize, apply with same dropshadow as before and duplicate then mirror it. Open the rose, copy & paste it as new layer and resize it at 40% smart size, apply same drophadow and duplicate it. Duplicate it again and resize it at 80% smart size. Open the rose2, copy & paste it as new layer and resize it at 30% smart size then duplicate and mirror it.

Open the ribbon4, copy & paste as new layer and resize it at 50% smart size then apply same dropshadow as before and move it underneath the little roses. Duplicate and mirror it.

Open the record, copy & paste as new layer and resize it at 30% smart size, apply same dropshadow as before and place it in the center on top of the roses. Open the bow2, copy & paste as new layer, resize it at 70% smart size and place it in the middle of the record, apply same dropshadow as before and add the diamond of your choice. Open the swirlbling, copy & paste as a new layer, rotate it at 90% left and apply dropshadow with the settings on V & H both on 1, Opacity 20 and Blur 2.00.

Open the glitter, copy & paste as a new layer, send it to the bottom layer and duplicate & mirror it then apply same dropshadow as we did with the swirlbling before.

Open your tube, copy & paste as a new layer and place it underneath the filmstrip, apply dropshadow with these settings on V & H both on 1, Opacity 40 and Blur 4.00.

Grab your text tool, I used Rob's Waterbrush font and Eye Candy 4000's Gradient Glow in fat settings in white and black like I mentioned in my previous tutorials.
