A quickie tutorial

SUPPLIES NEEDED

PSP X2 (Any version will work)

TUBE OF CHOICE

Scrapkit of choice, I used Clarey's PTU Sparkalicious kit, you can get it from her store HERE

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Xero - Fritillary

I used Rob's Oh Ley font

Open the template

Delete the credit layer & 700 x 700 Canvas Size

Flood fill the rest of the background layer with white

Click on angled thin rectangle2 layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and copy & paste paper13 as a new layer then hit delete. Repeat this with angled thin rectangle1 layer. Apply dropshadow with settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 & Blur 4.00.

Click on the top rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and copy & paste paper15 as new layer and hit delete. Select none. Repeat this with the bottom rectangle layer. Apply same dropshadow as before to both.

Click on the Rectangle 2 layer, select all, float, defloat and add a new raster layer then flood fill it with #373154 or colour of your choice. Select none, go to Effects - Textures - Weave and use the settings of Gap Size - 2, Width - 14, Opacity - 1, Weave & Gap colors both White and Fill gaps checked. Apply same dropshadow as before. Apply same dropshadow to the Rectangle 3 layer.

Click on middle rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and copy & paste paper2 as new layer then hit delete. Apply same dropshadow as before.

Click on Rectangles layer, apply with the same gradient glow and dropshadow too. Click on Skulls layer, add a new layer and flood fill it with #373154, back on the Skulls layer select all, float, defloat then invert and go to the flood fill layer, hit delete and select none. Apply with the same dropshadow.

Click on the Words layer, add a new layer and flood fill it with #373154 then go back to words layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and hit delete. Change it to Soft Light blend mode. Delete the original words layer.

Click on grey circle layer and apply dropshadow to it. Open your tube of choice, copy & paste as a new layer, duplicate it and on the duplicated tube go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 3.00 and change the blend mode to soft light. On the original tube, apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 and Blur 10.00. Erase the bottom parts so the tube will look like it is inside the circle frame.

Open flower2 element from the kit, copy & paste as a new layer and resize it at 80% smartsize. Apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H - 1, Opacity 40 & Blur 4.00. Duplicate it then move it and place it on the left of the circle frame.

Click on bottom layer, copy & paste clusteredglitter as a new layer and apply same dropshadow as before.

Click on the bottom layer, copy & paste paper2 as a new layer and apply WSL_Mask220 mask then merge group. Add your text, I used Oh Ley size 100, color #c77398 and apply noise with the settings of Uniform 25 & Monochrome checked then apply Eye Candy Gradient Glow with the settings shown below. Resize & crop it and save it as a .jpeg or .png. image.
