A quickie tutorial

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

I used LDJ Jilly Nilly & Pixelette fonts

Open the template

Delete the credit layer & 700 x 700 Canvas Size

Flood fill the rest of the background layer with white

Click on Shape layer, select all, float, defloat then copy & paste paper14 then invert and hit delete. Keep it selected, selections - modify expand - 4 and add a new layer, flood fill it with white and go to Adjust - Add Noise - Uniform, Noise - 25% and monochrome checked. Apply dropshadow with the settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 and Blur 4.00. Delete the original shape layer.

On the large rectangle layer, select all, float & defloat, copy & paste paper3 as a new layer and hit delete. Repeat the same step as we did with the white noise layer.

You could leave the text as where it is or apply your text of choice like mine, I used pixelette font, size 8 and anti-alias off, type in TOXIC ROCK then go to Effects - Mura Miesters - Copies and use the Tiling and move the Gap slider to 2. Click on the large rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert and go back to the text layer then hit delete. Select None.

Click on small rectangles layer, select all, float & defloat then copy & paste paper2 then invert and hit delete. Repeat the same noise step as we did earlier.

On the skulls layer, you can leave them there if you like and I used Kristin's skulls on mine. I resized them at 40% smart size and rotate it at Left 15.00. Apply same dropshadow as before and I used the other skull with the different colour, I resized it at 40% smart size then again at 85% bicubic size and rotate it at Right 15.00. Copy & paste iPod2 as a new layer and resize it at 50% smart size and apply same dropshadow to it. Copy & Paste doodle2 as a new layer, mirror and go to Effects - Eye Candy 4000 and use the settings shown below.

Add your tube as a new layer, duplicate it and on the duplicated tube go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 3.00, change the blend mode to Soft Light and on the original tube apply dropshadow with these settings of V & H - 1, Opacity - 40 and Blur 10.00.

Grab your text tool, I used LDJ Jilly Nilly, type in your name but change the foreground/background colour in the material properties as you type in each letter and apply same gradient glow as before. On the bottom layer, add a new layer and copy & paste paper8 as a new layer and apply WSL_Mask220 & merge group.

Resize and crop it, save it as .jpeg or .png image.
